Its a cool venue right down by the sea next to nishi Oita ferry port. Last time I went to an event there it was full of people getting tattoos! Very alternative and a great place for a party and a piss up.
JULY 15th (Sun) OUTDOOR BEACH CONCERT@ Nagasakibana Beach in Kunisaki (Bungotakada)The summer festival organizers of 'Kyushu Baila', this year replacing Concert on the Rock as Oita's biggest outdoor music festival, are holding a promotional event at the beautiful white sand beach on Sunday (see photo above). There are log cabins, BBQ areas as well as places to camp. Its a cracking beach and will no doubt will be a blast of an event. I assume there will be food stalls and booze but it won't hurt to bring your own. More details to follow as I only found out about it Sunday. I assume its free or at least super cheap.
